Ok so im watching the movie and after they get married....when she comes out the bathroom and they are about to do it..she either said "im not a virgin" or "im a virgin", which one was it?!?!?

What I heard was "I'm a virgin". I think she even repeated it. I got the impression that he would be gentle with her.

shareI couldn't quite hear if she said she was or wasn't either. Clearly they hadn't slept with each other before & she did say she wondered how people got to the part where they took off their clothes, so I got the impression that she was a virgin.

And for some reason, that bothers me, because I thought it was fitting to her character AND her modest behavior (plus what she said about "always wondering how people got to the part about taking off their clothes) for her TO be a virgin.
Then after witnessing so many misspellings and changed words on close captioning, I decided that they are not the end all, be all with exactly what actors are saying.
I DVRd the movie recently because it is one of my favorite films and paid close attention to that part. While close captioning still reads "Im not a virgin", when you read her lips, it is NOT what she is saying. She seems to stutter a bit on the "Im a...." part. It sounds like she is saying "Im a.....Im a virgin". This makes the most sense to me. Especially with how nervous "Evie" is, it would stand to reason that she would stutter or stumble on those words at that time.
