Ricci's career in the last 15 years is a very puzzling considering her career in the 90's.

Anyone have any speculations on what happened?

She probably has enough money that she can work when she wants to work.

I wish she'd keep doing TV though, and get on a good genre series soon. TV is where the good stories are at.

No doubt she has enough money lol but I think she would have hoped for better films than what she has done. I don't know whether she pissed the wrong people off because it's clear she is a very good actress. Either that or Hollywood didn't know what to do with a diminutive, not skinny, actress associated with the macabre.

She starred in a series that did okay, it was about airplane stewardesses, I can't remember what it was called

Agreed. IMO she would be perfect for American Horror Story, especially after seeing her in Lizzie Borden.

Penelope wasn't bad, cute movie.
