The region 1 DVD

I recently bought the region DVD through playtrade (a division of play.com).
Sadly the picture quality is really bad. It's literally like someone downloaded a low-res youtube movie and burned it onto DVD. Not so much in the close up scenes where not that much is moving but the moment there's any visual depth on screen it's starts to get real ugly.

My question here is: are there any good DVD editions out there? Or is the "Ambush" Region 1 edition the only one?

Great movie nonetheless. Glad I tracked it down. Not too spectacular or groundbreaking but that's probably what I like about it.
