I watched this movie for literally the 50th time in the past 8 years with friends.This is my favorite movie of all time( yes it lacks some consistancy and polish but it's heart makes up for any technical short comings ). William H. Macy 's performance is incredible.The story behind getting this story to the screen is pure magic. The best movie about love and friendship ever!!

Love it too... whenever someone ask me tu suggest a good comedy, I recommend Happy, Texas. Just watched for the 9th time.
William H. Macy should have been at least nominated for an Oscar, he totally deserves it for this performance; I always feel real bad for him near the end.
