Just caught this on Hulu, what sad pitiful people.

I found all the girls sort of pretty. But none of them really did much for me except the asian girl who never got any screen time with the camera. The rest of them just seemed like trailer trash. I felt sorry for Mandy. Sounds like old Frank was trying to take advantage of her and she wasn't having it so he fired her and wouldn't even give her a ride out of the desert back to the airport. And then he didn't want the camera crew to show any of her firing so he freaked out and shut the whole film down. Glad they showed it though.

Personally I thought most of the women were attractive. Connie was very pretty but her hair detracted from it (did no one else think she resembled Kate Hudson at times - especially when she smiled?).

These days, sex trade girls are all about expensive clothes (or clothes that are cheap but look chic or glamourous), hair that is lush, sleek, curled or perfectly styled, and makeup over emphasizing their features and hiding their flaws. These girls didn't have such luxury. Their makeup, their hair, is very basic (as it's done on a daily basis and probably going to be smeared and messed up anyway)...their clothes are cheap nylon and polyester (because it's machine washable and was probably soiled on a nightly - or even HOURLY - basis).

But back then, these girls would have been stunning to the men who went to the ranch. To a man who has driven/flown miles and miles just to get to the ranch with full intention of getting laid, those girls would have looked appealing - how many men can you see having arrived, seen the girls, and decided against the 'party' after having spent so much money just getting there to begin with?
