About the game story

It sure was a great game, but I never really understood the chronology of the story. How did everyone die? On some movie a guest turns into a kid and in another one she is dying or becoming mad or something. The fat lady married to the old guy, how did she die??

Another thing I would like to say is that I remember Virgin games had the most amazing graphics, really outstanding for the early 90's. What are they doing now?

Well, it's been a while since I played. There were several scenes in the game that had 'fake' deaths of the characters, weird scenes like the 'turning into a kid' one that you mentioned. Here is what I can vaguely recall of what appeared to be the characters' real deaths, presented in an equally vague order:

Brian Dutton (Stuck-up guy) - I think he was stabbed to death by Edward Knox

Edward Knox (Frisky old guy) - Neck snapped by Hamilton Temple

Hamilton Temple (Magician dude) - Strangled by Julia Heine (Snobby woman)

Knox's wife - I don't think she was actually killed, but she was somehow turned into a mannequin in one of the attic rooms.

Martine Burden (The, ahem, woman of 'loose moral fibre') - No clue... there was a scene where she suddenly disappeared under the water in a bathtub and another where her head spotaneously exploded, but I don't think those were her 'real' deaths.

Julia Heine (Snobby woman) - Killed by Stauf's evil vomit or something at the end of the game.

Stauf - For some reason I absolutely forget what happened to him.

(Note: I never played 11th Hour since it never worked on any of my computers, so some events might have been shown there)

Lucky then, that I just happen to have the official guidebook of the game :P

Well then let’s see... ah yes... well you are pretty much right about all the other characters... as for Stauf....

He gets hit by lightning and his skin gets burnt away to the bone and he is then sucked in the same vomit that he used to kill Julia with, how charming… it says here that what caused the lightning is the players(you) hate for stauf… right… well that’s what it says…

Hope that helps.

There's a supermodel who shags total prats and I don't know where she lives...

My guess about Martine Burden is the bathtub scene is somewhat correct. In the 11th Hour, in the bathtub, it's full of blood with a skeleton there. When you click on the skeleton at one point, Stauf says, "The skeleton doesn't want you in the tub... Carl." I always figured that the skeleton was that of Martine. Also, I don't really remember her head exploding, just kind of distorting (similar to Marie in 11th Hour in one cutscene). Just my two cents. :-)
