Unable to get the game to load on new computer


Hey eveyone I have just bought a Dell laptop and am unable to get 7th guest to load on it. Does anyone have any sugestions for getting the settings right so I can try and play it?

Here's what I did:

Put the 2nd disc in the cd drive.
Go to run, type in CMD, hit ok.
type in D: then enter. Your drive might be E:, if it is, type in E: then enter.
type install, then hit enter.
It will install and all that good stuff.
If you want to play it, click start, then click run, type in cmd.
type in C:\>T7G then enter.
then type in T7G and hit enter again.
You should be playing.

That worked for me, and I'm running an HP Pavilion with XP Pro.

The latest version of ScummVM now runs the game. Get the program at www.scummvm.org - it was originally designed to run old LucasArts games on modern computers (Monkey Island etc.) but it's being updated continually to support all sorts of old graphic adventure games. It's a bit tricky (not much though) to set up The 7th Guest for ScummVM, but the site has a forum and a wiki where everything is explained.
