Lot of people may say, sorry i mean must say that this game was one of the wrose games ever, well we can't blame them for that.

Anyway that game was kinda a poor copy in my words, the movie is better but hey genral, for me, all is cool. but this game..not very good.

so any other opinion about this game or have u ever tried him?

I bought this game a while ago and I've just recently completely 'Movie Mode' on the hardest difficulty setting. Street Battle is just impossable and frustrating!

Not a bad game but definitly not the best street fighter!

This is one of those instances where the game sucks so much it ends up being unintentionally funny.

Has anyone played the Arcade-version of SF:the movie? I don't know why, but I
think it as one of the best mediocre-fighting games ever. The Arcade game plays
totally different and has better sprites and less characters (no blanka, dee jay
etc.). When I was younger I used to spend outrageous sums of ca$h to it in the
local arcade. Then years later I tried it on MAME, and decided to just get the
arcade-machine, and I've been searching for it quite some time now..
I still remember how cool it was, the announcer from the movie(the radio dj)
yelling "counter!", "Guile, wins!" Not that stupid Capcom-style girlyman-voice.
The Arcade and Console-versions are two TOTALLY different games..It doesn't
play like SF, doesn't play like the older MortalKombat's, it plays originally
and very nicely. The fighting sounds are awesome, "smack! patch!", and you really
feel hurting your opponent. And making combos are sweeeet :)

The end. Sorry for the novel

I remember this was the first video game I got when I got a PlayStation for my 7th birthday. Me and my friends thought it was AWESOME!! Haven't played it in along time though, I gave it to my friend Luis after he became obsessed with the movie.

I still have my PS1 copy...its in that ridiculously LARGE PS1 box a lot of the 1st generation PS1 games used to come in..its complete with instructions & all & is a pretty rare collector's item as far as I know.

I didn't think the game was all that bad. Me being a HUGE fan of almost ANYTHING Street Fighter (except those Puzzle Fighter games...never could get into those). I remember how frustrating the last Bison was...I think I must've easily fought him over 30 times before I finally beat him (I forget the mode, but it was dang TOUGH).

You did also get the rare music video from the movie of Tell Me Why (I don't know the artist) once you finished the game (the music vid isn't even on the R1 DVD!)

Those people are long dead I'm afraid. The chronic awefulness of this game killed them. You and I will doubtlessly be next. Before that happens however, I just wanted to say hats off to you for providing us with that dynamite link. Very interesting. The pics of a scantily clad Kylie was an added bonus.

never played it, I just find the fact that it's a game based on a film based on a game amusing.

The game was horrible, but the movie was even worse. Why they decided to base the story behind Guile did make any sense at all. The main story should have been about Ryu and Ken, since they are the main characters of the game. Guile really doesn't come into the story until a lot later. The only thing I like about the movie was Guile's flip kick. Bison's torpedo was so lame and laughable, I didn't even want to watch it.

As for the game, the controls were awful. I played it at a friends house and was thrilled that I didn't shell out any money for it. Not sure what Capcom was thing when they made this game.

I concur. Was this really necessary? The first line of the synposis on this very website: "This game is based on the film which is based on the video game"
