who can agree with me that is 100 times better than Jaws?

just kidding i thought it was terrible. couldve used muche more violence.

I agree. Why isn't Casper Van Dien's mantle littered with Oscars? The range he shows in this movie is great: from scowl to grimace to blank stare. I'm surprised the whole cast didn't sweep the Oscars in '99.
I bought this for $3 on eBay and, as a shark movie dork, I guess it was worth the 300 pennies. I like how actual shark documentary footage is intercut with footage of their plaster shark with rigid mouth and unmoving fins. Brilliant. It's too bad the sunlight, water visibility and size of the shark vary wildly throughout the movie.

I've never seen this movie before. I was wondering about something. I read in many reviews that there are very few shark attacks in the film. Exactly, how many shark attacks are there, and how many are fatal?

And when they were diving on the wreck and the sharks came and he lost his scuba gear (no blood), and when they were in the shark cage the sharks attacked (no blood).

this movie doesn't come even close to jaws
jaws is a classic
and shark attack...
well it's not bad
but certainly not the best shark movie ever made
certainly not
even a shark tale was better

Yeah, WAY better.

Jaws was the greatest movie of all time. The only good acting in this movie was Casper Van Dean ACTING like a bad actor. The special effects SUCK!

Nothing I repeat NOTHING is better than JAWS because this was CRAP and the same goes with its sequals which I have heard are better than this one

ha haha ha i also own the trilogy. everyone should own this (along with crocodile 1 and 2!!)i agree with an earlier post its fantastic!!!for a sunday eve movie. shark attack 3 is most hilarious espescially megladon and why dont i take you home.....

classic but nowhere near class as jaws. completely diff films ALTOGETHER. THEY SHOULD NOT BE COMPARED!

i too have shark attack 2 and 3. I really pissed myself at num 3. If your a fan of really bad films then that is the one. Priceless!

The inclusion of violence or not is irrelevant in making the film good. Jaws was good because of the suspense, not the violence.
