it's such a good series, i started watching when i was like 7, now i'm 27 from time to time i still go back and watch a few episodes, i always love greek mythology, this series has always been fascinating to me

Because Europe got the series a whole decade before it even reached US shores, so it kind of had the "been there done that" feel for American viewers since anime was flooding the market at the time, and when it finally did reach the US, it was heavily butchered on TV by DiC Entertainment.
Fortunately the distributor ADV Films was savvy enough to produce an uncut version at the same time, but unfortunately the damage was already done.
I am from the states and only like 30 eps aired
