my goodness

They actually make this christian-themed crap still??

Somebody better call Kirk Cameron quick and tell him he can start working on other films that don't have the words 'Left Behind' in the title.

What, are you an islamo-fascist? Excuse my while I go whizz on the quran.....

Seriously, I thought it was a decent DVD for $5.50 at walmart. Beats the hell, no pun intended, I think, out of some of the pitiful new releases I've rented lately.

Gave it a 7, kept my interest.

These pathetic christian films are a disgrace to the complex art of cinema as well as a hindrance to the evolution of mankind.

If you want to pray to something, pray to the worm. The only creature who can bring about the ultimate rebirth and resurrection of the human race.

hey I like this movie! Its one of my favs! And we christians are NOT pathetic!

Hear hear!!

We Christians are not pathetic, but this movie was. I laughed at so many scenes, like the overboard "Spit it out man!" line, or the time Willie hit on the blind girl and was so over the top and yet she was still flattered. And I won't spoil, but when the certain characters go bad, it was so overblown and instant I was rolling on the floor laughing, and along with the gun scenes when there was no recoil and apparently no need to reload. And why does Willie randomly have two identical handguns with him? He is a hacker.

All in all I give it a good rating though, for the wrong reasons. Pure comedy like only a poorly handled b-movie can be

This movie kinda scared me especially the virtual reality things lol I think Left Behind is more realistic

They just tried modernizing the concept of having to face your Judgement by choosing the Mark or dying because of the refusal. I think this is one of the best Christian films but I didn't really like the acting. Leigh Lewis was incredible, as she is in all these films, but some of the "big names" they cast in the movie weren't great actors and some of the lines were delivered horribly. But still, the message got through to the target audience and that's what matter, for minds to be enlightened and lives to be changed.

reply

I am watching it now and enjoying it and appreciating the message. As I said in another post, Christian movies are getting better as far as production values, writing, and acting as is shown that numerous "name" actors are now wanting to be in them. That does not say anything about their spiritual situation but that the parts are getting better. A lot of actors want to do parts that interest them and that they can show their families without being embarrassed. If one knowingly watches a Christian movie he/she should expect a Christian message and a/or Christian agenda so do not be disappointed. Christian movies are getting better at entertaining also. If you don't like Christian themed movies then don't watch them but there is no need to get nasty about it or engage in mockery. Just change the channel or take it back to where you got it. This is the USA and we should be thankful to God for the freedom to choose what we want to watch. There are a lot of countries where such freedom does not exit.

This is actually a really good movie, definitely an eye opener as to how things will be during the early years of the Tribulation period.
