i just bought this film on video today, its the vipco release of the film and has the BBFC 18 certificate on it. i read something about it actually being a 15 and it was put there to make it more popular?

also it says on imdb it is 90 minutes long, yet for the UK version it doesnt mention its cut. then i read somewhere 12 seconds are cut out, yet my version seems to have 4 minutes cut from it! it is 86 minutes long. can anyone clear these two points up for me and tell me what exactly is cut out of my version?

The movie is rated 15 but the DVD as a whole is rated 18 thanks to Vipco being canny and putting 18rated trailers in the special features thus pushing up the rating.They obviously thought that a 15rated cannibal flick would'nt sell.Yes it is cut also to a scene involving a monkey being shot with a blow pipe.Vipco also changed the title to it so it would seem like a follow up the Deodato's classic.They did the same with Cannibal Ferox 2 which is actually called Massacre in Dinosaur Valley.

I recently found exactly this version (Cannibal Holocaust 2 on Vipco) for 3 EUR... would you say it's worth a purchase, even though it's cut and in fullscreen? Worth watching more than once?

I would'nt bother,you will more than likely be disapointed but for 3 euro its very little money.Just don't expect alot as not alot happens

Actually, I own the VIPCO release, and there are monkeys blow-darted in the film. I think that they may have snuck the footage under the radar.
