Adult Swim should air this series on CN
In a perfect world, the so called "big wigs" at the WB, Dreamworks SKG, and CN would consider re-airing this on Adult Swim on Cartoon Network right alongside other animated classics like Inuyasha, Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, and the Big O. However, considering that it has been almost seven years since this american animated marvel has last aired, one must consider the fact that the human prick factor and the inexorable legal hurdles will most likely (if it hasn't already) obliterate such a common sensical notion. Hopefully my inner cynic (notice how I don't say 'inner child') is dead wrong about this concern, but for those of you who doubt the notion that an A.S. airing of this show would probably generate enough viewer support for a continuation of the series, I ask you to take two factors into consideration before bombarding me with hisses, boos, and the occasional mean spirited snicker:
1.) Consider the notion that only a fraction of viewer support is needed to keep a show running on cable versus network television.
2.) Consider the historical feat that was accomplished jointly by Adult Swim and the company responsible for having initially brought the first 13 episodes of the Big O to the U.S. in that, only in the U.S. were 13 more episodes possible, bringing the series to a close with 26 episodes that had never previously been watched before on Japanese televison.
