7 colours ?

How did she know there would be 7 colours and what did this represent? I am totally confused by this.

Hey.
It is the guineapig movies, dont expect them to make sense or be well done.

All I can think is the 7 colours are meant to represent a rainbow? Also what happens to the picture at the end of the film?

reply

Nothing happens to the picture, It was all a delusion in his head. The sewer represents where his life is. The mermaid doesn'tc exist it's actually his dying wife. He keeps thinking back to his youth when him and his wife where young and there was no problems then. Now, his wife is dying (or dead - because no one hears the mermaid's screams) there firstborn child is dead in the womb, and he's losing his mind. If there was no mermaid, then there was no painting, it was all a psychotic delusion in his head.

lol, It was a very interesting story, but I think that was one of the best in the GP series. Very strange, but a great GP story

reply

Wow. Props to you for being a bitter douchenozzle and attacking people on a movie forum.

? if that was to me...i didn't attack anyone =/

The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist

I think the 7 colors simply represented an idea of the director (Hideshi Hino). He has a comic on this man, Zouroku, who had 7 colorful boils on his face; a man who loved to paint but didn't know where to get paint from. Sound familiar, yeah?

As for how she knew, I'm gonna hazard a guess and say that it's for the same reason behind the 7 colors.

Also, I don't think anything happened to the painting.
