Is this the film, as the story goes, that Charlie Sheen got a hold of and was convinced it was a snuff film and took it to the FBI. Or is the whole Charlie Sheen thing an urban legend??

Indeed it is :)
If you ask me he was a bit of a fool for doing so.
Nobody would be still alive after having all their limbs hacked off and disembowelled.
In fact the woman refuses to die until her head is chopped off and her eyeballs are sucked out.
Not that watching red paint drip out of a plastic chicken wasn't convincing enough.

It's not an urban legend I'm afraid... Wikipedia says it's true...

Yeah Sheen is a douche for thinking that. He's an actor for Christ's sake and should have been able to point out immediately there were a million edits and angles in the movie to not make it a real snuff film. Not to mention all the cheap blood.

RIP Paul Newman 1925-2008. Words can't express how much you will be missed.

It doesn't make him a douche, it makes him extremely gullible, if anything it shows compassion... everything else he does is pretty douchey though :)

Hey guys, quit pickin' on poor ol' Charlie. He's really a nice guy. Of course he likes to have a good time, and we've had many great times together! You just don't know how realistic some things seem when you're enjoying life

Its true, however I believed the first Guinea Pig "Devil's Experiment" was a little more realistic.. That chair spinning scene was treacherous!

It's true, u can look it up on his imdb page under trivia.
There will be lots of other things there, things u don't know.
