I haven't seen 'Mêkingu obu 'Ginî piggu' (1986) (Making of Guinea Pig) where the special effects are explained by the director. However in the Dali/Bunuel film "Un Chien Andalou" which has a scene considered one of the most horrific in cinema, a woman's eyeball is sliced open with a razor. This film, only 16 mins long, ran continuously as part of the huge Dali Exhibition at the National Gallery in Melbourne& however many times I saw it, it freaked me. It was done using a dead calf's eye from the local market. Perhaps they used something similar.

its a prosthetic eye or glass eye..its kinda heavier and u hear it on the spoon that doesnt happen w/ the real eye

cutting scene those are not even prosthetic legs, but just effects of make up and made up leg.

i was prepared to think it was real but when he cut the leg at first it was a giveaway, but granted an ordinary person who has not seen a leg being sliced open (in that area) slowly and up close would not probably know the difference.
