I read the book although many others have to. But still, I enjoyed the book very much. I rarely cry at the end of sad stories and this one, I almost did. I really loved the end with the flowers. I haven't seen the movie yet, but if it's anything like the book, I'll enjoy it.
Lurlene McDaniel's book "Don't Die, My Love" is one of my favorite books of all time. I started watching this movie, not realizing it was supposed to be based on the book. I thought it was a decent movie but, as usual when books are turned into movies, there were some aspects of the book that the movie left out. Those aspects were some of the best parts of the book and that was upsetting but like I said, it was a decent movie.
Its a beautiful book and a beautiful movie. There were some changes but I think they did a good job with it. I bawled my eyes out as did my mother. I usually just get depressed during movies like this and almost cry. I cried a lot! Very good, I reccomend watching it. It actually was just on Lifetime today.
