The Ending with Jack
What exactly happened to Jack at the end? Did he go to jail? I know he was shot. At the end you see Ellie watching Charlie coming home from school and I did not see Jack there. Could somebody please inform me?
shareI assumed Ellie divorced Jack. She told Sarah she was going to testify against the 'sheriff of Caldwell County' which, of course, was her husband, so I'm guessing she testified against him for raping Sarah and he was put in jail. She then divorced him in the process.
