The Legacy of 'L.A. Law'?

Why in the world would Corbin Bernsen star in not one--but two--Godawful movies about a demented, demonic dentist? I guess that he's in the same vein as Larry Drake, the sadistic, Satanic surgeon, "Dr. Giggles," who is anything but funny. (Diagnosis: $$$) Are we going to see any other "L.A. Law" alumni in such revolting roles?

He played a slimy lawyer character similar to Arnie Becker in "Right to Die", one of the episodes of the Masters of Horror series.

This is why I like Bernsen so much. He can play roles like Arnie Becker on L.A. Law, but also isn't afraid to ham it up and have some fun like The Dentist flicks.

Any movie or TV show with Bernsen by law is halfway decent by his appearence

Wait a minute, who am I here?

I fully agree. Corbin Bernsen doesn't appear to be one to turn down any role, and we are all the better for it. He really deserves to be in better films, but it's always a pleasure to see him hamming it up, and this is still worthwhile. 6/10 from me.

I've enjoy all of these movies, for the mixture of horror and dark comedy. Also, Larry Drake was terrific as the demented criminal mastermind Durant in the Darkman trilogy, another set of suspenseful films with a crazy sense of humor.
