Interesting Alternative Ending

I've seen most of this movie and while the ending is pretty cool I have come up with another ending that would twist things around.

What if, when Alan is coming after Jamie with the drill and she is screaming for him to stop, he says "why should I?". "Because I'm pregnant!" She gasps. He stands there, not knowing what to think. "I'm pregnant with your baby Alan. You're going to be a father." Jamie is crying and Alan drops the drill in shock. He hugs her and as he feels the baby, Brooke comes and hits him on the head. She then looks at Jamie and disappears. Jamie flees the building.

Five years later, Jamie is a single mother with her daughter Amanda (a young blonde girl who is the spitting image of Jamie) who, despite the circumstances, still live in Paradise. Amanda is scheduled for her very first dental appointment at an out of town dentist and is sent into the dental room by the receptionist. They look up and a familiar face walks in (bet you can guess who). "Now, Amanda is it? Let's have a look at those teeth. See if Jamie's been spoiling you rotten." Jamie screams and tries to pick Amanda up but he knocks her to the ground. Amanda looks at him scared. "Don't worry. Daddy will make sure everything goes to plan. Now, OPEN WIDE!" It ends with a scream.

That would have been better than the surprise party and the self torturing pinhead scene. Good idea!

That is a pretty good one haha. The idea that I had that I kind of thought was going to happen was the Jamie was going to come and save Caine/Alan from Brooke, at which point the murders would be blamed on her and he would escape again. I like yours better though.

That alternative fan ending was some of the worst kinds of trope. I cringe whenever movies do the "I'm pregnant" cliche. Are you completely void of creativity? You might as well just take any old cliche and slap it on the movie for an ending. How about it turns out that the chick is an FBI agent under cover to foil the plans of the dentist or some other washed up twist? Unbelievable...
