BOBBY'S BIOLOGICAL FATHER

I, too, am confused about how Mike knew Bobby and his mother. The movie did not make that clear. I can't stand it when they leave out important details like that in a movie! But, I still liked this movie, anyway.

Bobby"s father was never shown in the movie because he didnt have one. He walked out on his mother shortly after his birth so he really never met him

Mike was the neighbor who noticed that Bobby was fatherless and not cared for by his mother. The character of mike says he noticed because he himself had been abandoned by his parents into the foster system when he was little.

He had no interest in Bobby's mother.
