Where is the huge 2nd hand bookshop?

Surely the huge 2nd hand bookshop in the film isn't a set? Does anyone know which bookshop was used and where it is/was? Thanks.

The antique bookshop used to be on Gammel Kongevej in Copenhagen. It was really a huge mess in there, but the shopowner (who is also playing the shopowner in the movie) always knew where everything was. It must have been over 6 years now that the shop was sold and turned into a minimalist/trendy book shop. Im not sure if this new book shop has even survived.

Im not sure if the video store in Bleeder is still open. It used to be the place to go for the filmfanatics to rent vhs-movies.

But there is a scene in which Mads Mikkelsen is sitting in the cinema Husets bio and watching a movie. Its now also last chance to experience that small cinema, as its closing down in the end of june 2009. It is Copenhagens smallest art house cinema, but a decline in moviegoers for the small cinemas have forced this one-man cinema to shut down. I went to see a double feature of Death proof / Planet Terror some months back, and i was the only one in the cinema (just like Mads Mikkelsen i think)

Thanks for the reply. Such a shame that yet another old bookshop with character has gone :'-(

The bookshop reminded me of one I knew although the shop keeper was not as impressive as the one in Copenhagen/the film. I feel sad about the demise of bookshops.

Why do you refuse to remember me?
