Does anyone know what song is in the scene when he's on trial as part of the Chicago 7? The one that's playing in the backround when he's being interviewed on the stand? It's in the first part of the video imdb has on here for Steal This Movie.

It's from the soundtrack album as well and is performed by Steve Earle (an appropriate choice for this film!) & Sheryl Crow - true, it's not quite the Chamber Brothers, but since they couldn't afford all of the originals it does stand up as a good cover (if you like the tune and what it expresses for this film - check out how the original was used during "Coming Home" 1978 - FANTASTIC!)

Totally agree. 60s classic Its use in Coming Home was great. And, interestingly, Jane Fonda starred in Coming Home. She is the real life mother of Troy Garrity who portrayed his real life father, Tom Hayden, in Steal This Movie.
