I have no idea.

I thought this show was brilliant then and it's still exceptional now.

It's hard to see how this show didn't succeed when so many dodgy shows did and do.

Nepotism. It was about a Catholic family... the mostly Jewish big wig decision makers don't like that, for one thing. Also, it was female oriented. The mostly male big wig decision makers don't like that...

Religion was never even mentioned iirc? Not even in the Christmas episode.

Also, there are way more Christian characters on American shows practicing their faith than jewish ones, so it's hardly an anti-Christian vendetta (even though there wasn't any specific religion, jewish or Christian or anything else, on the show to begin with; their xmas seemed pretty secular).

I know I I wish they never canceled it so early it was the Olsen twin's 2nd best television work easy!!
