Corrie connection

Although both series have been repeated countless times - often back to back - they are still very funny and just as enjoyable. But has anybody else noticed the Coronation Street connection? Just now, for a bit of harmless amusement, I spent ten minutes or so adding up the actors who have appeared in both. Unless I have miscounted there are an incredible 29 of them!
Strangely it seems the only ones not to have appeared in both are Victoria Wood, Celia Imrie and Julie Walters.
Next time it's on, why not play the Corrie Connection and see how many you can spot.

the guy with the cast on his leg 'holiday' = eddie windass lol.
i almost fell off the chair when i saw him come in.

29 of them? really? wow.
i recognized sunita/anita of course, and 'mavis'.

Not surprising really given that I think they were both filmed at Granada so hired actors working in the area.
