this show for me is my go to dvd whenever i am feeling down and need a chuckle, i have probably watched this show about five times over. it has such a big heart and was so well written, that watching just one episode never left me hungry for more comedy. i wish that victoria wood had written just one more series. i have been a fan of hers for a long time and love everything she has written, but with this show i feel she really hit her highest point as a writer and performer.

it might have been good if they had done a series set in the b & b they were going to run. I thought Twinkle maybe could decide to go and work for them there, and the other regulars could go as guests. and if she hadn't killed off the mother she could be staying there too, maybe parked outside in her caravan.
