Haven't seen the movie in ages but I remember the song that was playing at the wedding was "You're My Latest Greatest Inspiration" Teddy Pendergrass and if that's not the one the song that was playing in the background at the reception when Alicia and Mike were talking (if I remember correctly people were dancing in the background) was "Crave" Marc Dorsey.
I have to say as soon as I read your post I thought of the scene at the end of "The Best Man"? If you got the movies mixed up the song is "Candy" by Cameo. Hope that helps.
