Has anybody got a pic of the face in the snow? I've tried looking for it a few times but don't think I've ever made it out. There's something that maybe could be interpreted as a face but it's so vague I don't think I'm looking at the right thing. If someone has a pic of it, or could get one and highlight where it's supposed to be that'd be brilliant! Thanks.

shareYes I just recorded it and it's there, you're probably looking at the right thing. Large and vague in the snow between the rows of gravestones. She goes off on the right of the screen and as soon as she's out of sight the camera pans slowly downwards, so I can only think the effect was intentional. The eyes are two misty patches which are almost visible straightaway, and the nose is in view by the time the screen fades to black.
This is probably a homage to Psycho where Norman Bates face merges into his mother's face at the very end fadeout.
I would post a clip if I could only work out how to get it from my DVD to here.
Omg! I thought I was the only person who noticed the face in the snow. I've made people watch the whole movie with me and look for it at the end. But they lost interest and didn't care. But its one of my favorite movies and I can watch it over and over again. The way I noticed the face in the snow at the end was by being so crazy about the movie and having to see every second of it, and right before the credits the face appeared!

I increased the brightness on my screen and it comes up a lot clearer. Hint - stand at least 2-3 meters away from your monitor and you'll notice a lot more detail in the face:

I noticed if I looked at my LCD screen on an angle, the face becomes a lot more prominent. Again, it's important to stand at least 2-3 meters (preferably 3) from the monitor, as this one really stands out and you can even make out her jawline:

Yeah, I've always seen the impression of Madison's face just as the screen fades to black. It was on earlier this year and my Mom kept pointing this out to me like I'd never noticed it before. I just looked at her and said, "Yeah, you just noticed that?" .

I just finished watching it...and though I have seen this movie before this is the first time I noticed the face in the snow. I never really paid too much attention to this movie...but I got really into it just now.

shareOk, so having gone through this thread, i think i mis-saw the face! i got the lips in the snow, but what i saw was an eye in the tree branch. you can see something like it from 6:09 to 6:16...MP is walking across the lips as she walks away...look up, and the tree that is halfway in the screen has a branch that extends out, with the lake in the background but the branch having other trees behind it, resembles an eye when coupled with the 'lips' (a right eye if you are looking at someone)...seeing the pictures someone else posted on here, i saw the 'real' face, but could it be possible there are two? or am i totally crazy?!

there are more faces ive been told by an expert of the movie. havent found them all yet but i do know theres 1 right at the beginning before the movie starts, when you see the water and the seaweed a face flickers.

I found the face in the snow years ago and it STILL scares me. The one on the menu screen too.
