Katie a total b*tch

Am I the only one who thinks Katie was a total b*tch through the whole movie? I mean she had no good arguments about anything and made up problems that were'nt there and Ben had to take her BS over and over again. I'm really surprised he still had feelings for a witch like that. He was a good and kind man who deserved a lot better than her.

And therefore I thought that the ending totally sucked ass! When Katie had her speech at the parking lot I was hoping to myself that Ben would tell her that he had moved on and wanted the divorce. That way Katie would have gotten exactly what she deserved and the movie a good and realistic ending.

And yeah.. you can critizise me about not knowing anything about long term marriages and stuff like that, but that doesn't change the fact that Katie was a total b*tch.

it depends on which side u r, do u care for every lil detail or u don't take life seriously?
coz f u don't take life seriously then u would see her like that while if u care for every lil detail u wouldn't like him and would root for her
either way it is fine, no way is better than another
it is like if u study chemistry u might be interested in it and u would not be interested in physics or maybe hate it, that doesn't make physics bad but it is not something u like
u can be happy no matter which way u go, also u could be sad too like studying something u hated which is not that bad but doesn't suit u
anyway, I hated that she went out with the other guy, I loved what she said abt anything intimate is considered cheating even if it was just talking
so seeing her like that was really ugly and he didn't deserve it and it was wrong anyway whether he deserved or not.

I mostly agree except that Ben didn't know how to argue without yelling. I too wish wish he had told her that he had decided to move on and she should just go back to the dentist whom, by her definition, she was having an affair with. I wish he had told her that he did want to get back with her but after seeing her with the dentist, he decided that their marriage was truly over and he now definitely wanted a divorce. I also noticed that he apologized to her the night he came to the house, when she was with the dentist, but when she made her speech at the end she never apologized to him for what she put him through.

Shes a gold personality. Everything planned and ordered. I'm surprised she finally broke as she stayed so stubborn.
