Al Gore as President in wall photo

What's more ironic: in one of the scenes, Tommy Lee Jones is literally standing in front of Gore's photo. It's a clever inside joke because in real life Jones was Gore's suitemate at Harvard.

i've been in plenty of gov't buildings which had the vice presidents picture, as well as the presidents picture displayed... not to mention former presidents and vice presidents...
maybe the ambassador was particularly a fan of mr gore's? but yes, the fact that jone's shared a dorm with gore during their college years makes it a nice little easter egg.
