I agree. Realistic portrayal of a poor and totally abusive lifestyle where the kids take the brunt of it.

An excellent film. It does slip into predictable tropes of the genre once or twice and some of the casting didn't complete convince me, but its great stuff, and Noah Fleiss is just sensational in the lead. A completely unsentimental, powerful juvenile performance.
