philosofical touch

I loved this movie!! I've seen it twice now and I think of buying it. I mostly like the philosofical touch in the story, when she can't figure out what her real life is and what the dream is.
I don't know the philosophers name anymore, but I read somewhere in a book who is he to tell the difference between a dream en life itself....so in other words...who says that your dreamed life isn't your real life. I mean...I know the difference between a dream and the real, but woudn't it be nicer sometimes if it were the other way around?!! (apart from nightmare's though!)

i really liked this movie too. very intriguiging ideas and very charming in many ways.

but girl, you need to work on your spelling in a bad way.

try 'philisophical' and 'figure'

i just had to say... one of the most beautiful movies i've ever seen... dreams and life... beautiful:)

I loved this movie, too. I'm a little surprised more people aren't fans.

And hey, let's all work on our spelling! And what the heck, grammar, too!

No, seriously.

It's always hysterically funny to read a comment by someone who is making fun of someone else's spelling, but who misspells his own post doing so! Try "intriguing." (eye roll)

Last night I dreamed I was in a spaceship traveling to another galaxy. When I got there, I landed on an Earth-like planet. I found myself staring into my childhood back yard. There were strange looking creatures, purplish in color, with a pet camel. I quickly got back in my spaceship and left.

If I were to get my dreams and reality confused then that would be a whole other type of movie.

By the way, I chose my quote below long before I watched this movie.

"A nightmare is fed before it is born."

I think it was Plato who said that we were all sitting in caves watching our shadow's lives and never really took part in our own lives. The shadows are best watches at a distance, if they come too close, they get blured.

yes, pretty interesting movie. Am i the only one who had never heard of this film ? i rented it by accident and watched it with really low expectations, but overall, it's worth a watch. also, the lil kid (plays the younger daughter) was really cute.

You should go to the "fichtner_firsthand" yahoo group!! The romance between the two is quite sweet. He said in an interview that this character is most like his real persona. It turned out alot less cheesy than I had expected!!
