Awful (SPOILERS)

This film is totally unrealistic. The scene where she is chasing Brody in the city is ridiculous. That would never happen in NYC! There would've been a road block. The she-cop managed to coax the feds and the rest of the Poughkeepsie PD to sit around nonchalantly while she holed up in a room with a murderer and then he managed to escape with her. And the woman who had been buried alive suddenly had all this energy to hit Brody over the head with a flashlight. Oh and the she-cop would've lost her badge for shooting Brody's character since he wasn't attacking her. Suspension of disbelief is one thing but this film was downright stupid!

And the lead actress was terrible. She was miscast and was not owning that character. It was annoying and distracting.

Adrian Brody is the only reason I stayed through till the very end.

Apologies for the VERY late reply but I loved this film, despite its obvious reality-swerving.
One thing that I will agree on is Adrien Brody's incredible performance: intelligent and charismatic. I'm embarrassed to admit that I fell in love with his character a bit!
