SO this is the drama version of ''Mrs Brown's Boys''??
All the characters have the same names and the plot is the same and both are written by Brendan Carroll.
This is exactly what I was thinking. I haven't seen this film and in short I don't know.
sharePretty much. I remember this movie coming out and seeing it on tv etc. when I was a kid and really not liking it. Small details like names and that she ran a market stall etc. stuck with me but otherwise I thought it was boring and forgettable(perhaps unfairly, I was pretty young at the time). I hadn't heard of O Carrolls stage act as Mrs Brown or anything, eventhough my parents had seen it live a few times and were big fans, so I got a big shock when I turned on Mrs Browns Boys on RTE expecting something in the same line as this movie and got the madness that is O Caroll as Mrs Brown instead.
