Did anyone else catch this in the beginning?

In the first few minutes, when Spencer is talking about the Centauri and how they kill his father, they show someone being handed a flag, indicating a military burial. The flag is received by a man with a wedding band on. Since Spencer is only 8 years old at the time, it is obviously not him. I'm guessing they used some footage from somewhere else, but I can't believe that this wasn't caught during the edititng phase.

P.S. if you want to check it out, it's in like the first 2-3 minutes of the film.

So, I'm seeing that there were parts of other movies in this film. Maybe that was what happened here. But I still think they should have caught it in editing.

I thought it was sort of cheap retro scene since at that point wasn't it all United Earth and everyone was living in domed cities?

To me it looked like a woman's set of hands with manicured nails. Also, the portion of sleeve between the coat and what looks like a watch doesn't look like a man's dress shirt. It looks more like the sleeve of a woolen type dress or sweater. And not all women wear the engagement ring as part of the set. Just my 2 cents.
