Wow...

I think "wow" covers it pretty well. With scenes of a guy walking through a 30 below zero, windswept, snow-covered tundra in jeans, shoes, hoodie with the hood down, and thin leather jacket...to the fact that LA "just happens" to have Snow Cats (something rarely seen up here in NY, 1 mile from Canada)...to a character who runs around in a headband, instead of a hat, so his hairstyle can peek through...not to mention the characters who seem as though the coldest temperature they've ever experienced is maybe the low 60s.

I mostly agree, I think this film is one of the highlights of the SciFi made for TV movies.

Sadly, as the cost of special effects dramatically dropped, it became a revolving door for quick and cheaply cranked out B-movies.

At least the choice of actors and their committment to their roles is far superior in this movie than in many of the direct to DVD films that followed.

I enjoyed this movie and believe that most of the eye rolling scenes and dialogue were intentional to keep it a little lighthearted.
