Region 0 or 1 NTSC DVD Release?
I noticed that this film is being released soon onto PAL format, and wondered if it will ever be released in a Region 0 or 1 NTSC format for North america?
shareAccording to one online importer the answer is no due to legal reasons. What the reasons may be I would love to know, but they do carry the PAL import

In an interview produced for the German DVD edition, Deborah Twiss says that an American release is on its way. No date mentioned though.
shareThe film has not been released here due to a massive pile of red tape concerning music rights. This is why the US has had no dvd release. Now if they somehow worked something out, then kudos. However if not, then they either have to remove music from certain scenes (if such a thing is possible, no idea if the vocal only track still exist) or the worse case scenario: cut the film down or replace the music which sometimes ruins the entire film. A few films had this done and the replacement music was not welcomed very much.
