What happened to his teeth? I guess maybe I hadn't been paying the best attention up to that point, but when that happened I was completely befuddled as to why that happened...

He bit into the chicken and his dental implant (or whatever you wanna call it) fell out and he was embarrassed. It really showed that, yeah, he is an old guy and that he's literally falling apart.

I think there is a link between chronic alcoholism and dental erosion / teeth falling out...
