Can someone help me out? i've seen almost every episode in all the series and i was wondering did they ever show what the Gua really look like? i remember watching the episode where Cade's body slowly transforms into part of a Gua but not entirely reptillian. Is there something i missed or did the writer decide not to show them just to make the species more mysterious?

No, Mabus was just a rotting human shell. He couldn't take over a series of grown husks so he started taking over Live specimens (or that' what I remember). But his conciousness was too much for the body to take, so it would start to die off and rot. That's why Mabus was stuck in that smokey "life enhancing chamber" all the time.
