Writing Credit?

I just saw this version on TCM. Having grown up with the play and the Jose Ferrer film, I was struck with the resemblance - word for word in many cases - of the English title card dialogue with the Brian Hooker translation. Best I can tell, the Hooker version first played on Broadway in 1923.

Does anyone know if the titles are from the original, or were they redone during the restoration?

Either way, Hooker should have a writing credit.

They were redone. The original ones were in black and white.
