troll teeth

They need 95 to join the guild. They use a tooth to buy the guitar. The tooth is worth 200.

They couldn't use the tooth to join the guild, make some money, go back and buy the guitar?

Yeah, then there'd be no story, yeah, yeah.

Why don't they just knock out all his teeth and they wouldn't have to work at all?

I was thinking about the same thing.

Or maybe we should just pretend there is a deeper meaning in all of this. The guild was clearly evil. In a free country people are not forced to join anything and the biggest freedom is to benefit only oneself, I suppose. Of course the series also points out that those who only seek to do just that are also evil. The evil manager is an example of that. In the end there isn't any good guys in this series and not even death is certain (He did bend his own rules, didn't he).
