There will never be another Alex Trebek so quit expecting everyone to be him.
You'll probably never meet these hosts or contestants and certainly won't get any of their winnings so the only reward you can take from this show is knowledge.
Trivial as it is.
I don't expect anyone else to be Trebek, but I expect a host to have similar qualities: professional broadcasting experience, authority, dignity, knowledge, humor, and general appeal. Neither Bialik nor Jennings have these attributes. The show is meant to offer more rewards than just trivial knowledge. You can get all that you want just from reading Trivial Pursuit cards. It's also intended to be entertaining, so it needs a charismatic host, which it has not had since Trebek died. It's hard to believe they can't find one, but it's a sure thing that a frumpy sitcom actress and a broadcasting amateur have not filled the bill.

Agree. They trotted out a weak group as auditions. My two favorites were the guy who produces the show and the football player whose name escapes me at this second (senior moment), but neither of those two were standouts.
Look at it this way, at least it's not Ellen DeGeneres or Steve Harvey.
I wish they'd just get it over with and hire Stephen Fry.
