Wow Imdb...

Fix the listing, this (les Mis dreamcast 10th annicersary concert) is easily the best rendition of Les Mis musically and IMDB has it completely buried. Why is it listed under "great performances" LOL!!! The 25th Anniversary TV Concert isn't. This didn't used to be this way. Clearly it was done for a reason. I'm guessing the studio had something to do with it. The current miscarriage playing in theaters is a travesty of film making.

I find it very annoying when, just because something has been shown under the GREAT PERFORMANCES umbrella, it is no longer listed as its own entity, and doesn't get its own message board. My current interest is PASSING STRANGE, the Spike Lee-filmed version of the Broadway musical. So brilliant. Yes, it showed on GP, but the name of it is PASSING STRANGE, and it shouldn't be buried (like so much else) under the obscuring cape of GP. Just had to vent a bit.

Multiplex: 100+ shows a day, NONE worth watching. John Sayles' latest: NO distribution. SAD.

Same for the 2000 video version of Jesus Christ Superstar. I remember it having its own board years ago. Then one day, I looked for it and it was missing. I think I found it by looking up the actors. A bunch of the threads, of course, went bye-bye. How frustrating to have good programs buried like this.

I so agree! Geez, one of the BEST Count Draculas ever made has to have been the Louis Jourdan/Judi Bowker 1977 Great Performances mini-series, where you will see special effects that were literally decades ahead of their time, and are now considered a stock effect in most horror (and some sci-fi) films made today.

I'm not a horror fan, but this 1977 version is on my shelf, as is the FF Coppola version (just as outstanding, but in many and varied different ways). Louis Jourdan as Dracula. That doesn't deserve its own board? Tsk tsk IMDB. Spend a few megabytes and give it its own board already, sheesh . . .

Ditto. Came here to discuss SUDDENLY, LAST SUMMER--the 1993 Maggie Smith version, and yet, here I am... cause it has no message board of its own. Very annoying!

Please excuse typos/funny wording; I use speech-recognition that doesn't always recognize!
