Howdy all! This thread gives an illustration as to how injurious is imdb's policy of lumping everything ever shown via PBS's GREAT PERFORMANCES under the umbrella of that series. This starts off with a question regarding a particular version of Thornton Wilder's OUR TOWN, and next thing you know, folks are discussing Warner Bros., Giacammo Puccini, his operas TOSCA, MANON LESCAUT, and LA FANCIULLA DEL WEST, something unnamed, with Patti Lupone in it (or is she in that OUR TOWN? I know she's not in those operas), and possible sources for buying goodness knows what. Please contact imdb and PBS to let them know how frustrating and wrong it is to find so many disparate things, all lumped together, making it hard to find info on a particular one, much less be able to buy one. Averyone complain to people who can change this situation.
Multiplex: 100+ shows a day, NONE worth watching. John Sayles' latest: NO distribution. SAD.
