the biggest problem with this movie. I could handle all the rest. I think this story would do quite well with better actors and just the minimal of tightening up of the script/dialog. The ending was really good.

that's the problem with this movie, 3 years after seeing i still cant say whether its good or bad...its certainly smarter, more original, witty and more engaging than stuff like blade 3 or underworld...but the lead actress is so very very bad...nothing wrong with her movement i guess, just dub her voice over, remove the cringeworthy sex scene...

Geena Davis would have good ten years ago (I think she looks like a vampire anyway}. Kate Beckinsale is probubly out of the question, She's already made at least Three Vampire movies. How about Catherine Zeta-Jones as Lilith?
shareEileen Daly is a terrible actress..because she isn't an actress. She was originally a fetish glamour model, was the 'face' of 'Redemption Films' and made quite a good living stripping in pubs around London (I know..I've seen her act a couple of times).
However she worked cheap and looked the part in a rubber catsuit. But she was known by those who worked alongside her on RBS as as Eileen 'What Day is it' Daly because she was wasted on coke a lot of the time and could never remember her lines..
How do I know? I know Jake West and I was one of the Transylvanian Extras in the Bar scene at the beginning.

Actually I'd love to see Yancy Butler as a vampire! Not a very high-paid actress and she looks the part! Let's just hope she gets over her apparent drink problems :(

The only highligt of this movie is the latex outfit Eileen Daly is wearing, but i guess thats the reason she is wearing it: Getting people to watch the movie.
