IMDB recommendations.

Seems like about every other time I check out the IMDB recommendations for a movie I get this title. Last time was "The Last King of Scotland", what the hell? This movie is so awful, did the distributors pay IMDB to have it put as much as possible on recommendations. I know these things usually don't mean crap but what is it that chooses these recommendations? Seems to me like it's a computer that matches up the most keywords between movies and this one must have an awful lot of keywords.

Well, anyone can add a movie recommendation. I don't actually know if recommendations are solely based on user submissions or if keywords are used as well. My guess is that someone (or a small group of people) repeatedly submitted this as a recommendation for several different movies for whatever reason. Whoever recommended it is probably a huge fan or something.
