I'm a little ashamed and a little nauseated by this story. How could someone hate their own race so much? I am half native american and half spanish and I am proud of both of my cultures.

I highly recommend that you watch the film The Believers. Ryan Gosling gives a first rate performance as a Neo-Nazi skinhead Jew. It's a difficult subject to deal with due to its uber-nonpolitically correct theme. But Gosling manages to get past the caricature-rich possibilities of such a topic and instead delves into the inner pain of his character.
And then again there's the poster boy for racial self hate Michael Jackson.
It's sad.... but it happens.
Interesting opinion Synd05. I was really intriqued with your remark that your 1/2 Native American & 1/2 Spanish ! I am too! My mom's all Spanish (her parents immigrated to Hawaii in the '40s from Spain). My father is full-Blooded Indian(FBI) straight from Rez (Fort Berthold in ND). He's a mix of Mandan, Lakota & Hitdasa (which basically makes him Lakotian or Sioux). I don't know very people with that mix. Most I know who say they are end up really being Mexican. Not much of difference really and it's mostly just geographics. Just thought I'd let you know that I appreciate your ethnicity.
