I LOVE this movie and top gun, because I love fighter pilot / navy movies, any more you suggest?

I know what the point of the movie is , ugh. I obviously like everyone know its a lone wolf survival movie, fighting for the good cause blah blah blah. I love navy and fighter pilot movies, and loved the fighter jet sequence in this game. THEREFORE I would love suggestions of similar military / navy movies. Movies with fighter pilot scenes are a bonus. Way to MISS MY POINT dunce, thanks for nothing

Flight of the Intruder starring Danny Glover and William Defoe is another great one and has some similar themes where the commander decides to mount his own operation. It is set during the Vietnam War and is one of the few movies about that war that are not set in the jungle.
