The soldier who stepped on the bomb towards the end

He was the one walking with the other guy, trying to find the American soldier. He accidentally stepped on the ground grenade or rigged bomb, or whatever it was. The other guy could not really help him. so he walked off? I don't blame him, what could he do, really? However, if it was me who had stepped on the bomb on accident, I would immediately ignite it, just to get the satisfaction of killing the person who refused to at least try to help me.

It was a mine and you misunderstood the scene lol

The tracker/soldier guy with him 'could' have disarmed the mine if he wanted to. He just didn't like the guy because he was cocky and stupid and shouldn't have tagged along to begin with.

That's why he just walked off.. he purposely let him die.

I'd have detonated it too with him still there. FWIW,it probably didn't kill him, but he'll be walking with a peg leg the rest of his life

He is dead, not just wounded.
