Did the Writers Have a Favorite Woman to Write for?

Outside of Carrie which woman do you think was the writers' favorite? Which one did they dislike?

reply

I don't think there aloud to have a favorite. I'm sure the writers had a field day writing Samantha's lines. Lol. Would've loved to be sitting in that room.

Why wouldn't they be allowed to have a favorite?

Consider the daffodil. And while you're doing that I'll be over here looking through your stuff.

Poor Charlotte I think they liked to torture. They literally gave her a crap storyline when they have her getting sick in Mexico (I think that was the movie). Was that really the best they could do? Later she has a meltdown baking cookies with her daughter. Yeah right, the way they wrote her up to that point that would not have been a problem for her.

She's also the only one who got close to getting an STD (the crabs). She sometimes came out on top at the end of an episode, but not as much as Miranda and Samantha did. Her POV was kind of depicted as the most pathetic of the group.

I think that Charlotte got bad storylines for sure. Sometimes I thought the writers didn't like her because she was conservative and wanted to get married really badly, unlike Carrie, Miranda and Samantha. The writers seemed to like the latter three better because of the generally better situations they wrote for them. But every girl throughout the series had to deal with an awkward, embarrassing or downright terrible situation. It can be hard to tell who was the favorite girl out of the four just based on writing.

Miranda had Chlamydia.
